Briana Leshinsky
About
Briana Leshinsky is an Associate Attorney with Owenby Law, P.A. When she was in her second year of law school, her parents divorced after 26 years of marriage. The turn of events that followed allowed her to firsthand experience how divorce will change a family dynamic and emotionally affect everyone in the family, which she uses to her clients’ benefit today.
Briana completed her J.D. at Western Michigan University Cooley School of Law after earning her B.A. in History from the University of Michigan.
Although Attorney Leshinsky can work on all sorts of difficult and complex family law and divorce cases, she really enjoys working on adoption cases from start to finish. Letting people grow their families through adoption—and eliminating the legal headaches that process can include—is a point of pride for her and a highlight of her career. For cases that are adversarial in nature, like a contested divorce or spousal support case, she tries to find common ground that helps both parties move forward without further stress.
At Owenby Law, P.A., Attorney Briana Leshinsky has become well-known for her communication skills, both with clients and colleagues. Her talent for critical analysis has also proven incredibly useful when working on intricate or detail-heavy cases.
Oftentimes, Briana volunteers in many communities within her church, St. Augustine. She also volunteers to teach mock trials at her children’s middle school and high schools.
In her free time, Briana likes to spend time with her spouse, two children, and two dogs. Days spent reading or at the beach are also some of her favorites, as well as any day that includes traveling to new places.
