Danielle Day
About
Danielle Day is an Associate Attorney at Owenby Law, P.A., where she focuses on divorce cases, especially those involving paternity and child support contests, and estate planning. Before she began her legal career, she was a Dependency Case Manager with Children’s Home Society. This experience made her realize that she loved helping people in need and drove her to explore how she could use her career to help people even further, which led her to a career as a family law attorney.
Danielle graduated from the University of Central Florida with a B.A. in Psychology before earning an M.A. in Entertainment Business from Full Sail University. She completed her J.D. at Seattle University School of Law.
With a sharp sense of critical thinking and problem-solving, Danielle likes to look for solutions to a client’s problems that other legal professionals might have overlooked. She approaches every situation with a fresh mindset because she follows a “no one size fits all” mantra in both her professional and personal lives. When a client is experiencing a tough time, as many are, Attorney Day naturally shows her compassionate and empathetic side. At the end of the day, she loves her work as an attorney the most because she truly enjoys helping people.
Danielle is a self-proclaimed “military brat” who went from place to place and base to base while growing up. She graduated high school in Okinawa, Japan, went to Florida for college, and moved to Seattle for university. Her worldly experiences throughout her life have helped her better connect with clients from various walks of life today.
Football season (Go Knights! Go Seahawks!) is Danielle’s favorite time of year. Her hobbies include finding recipes (that she saves but never uses), pushing herself in Spartan Races and 5Ks, volunteering for charitable organizations, being outdoors, and spending time with her children.
